I put this over my dining table in my eat in kitchen and it looks stunning and casts a light of light. I had lots of questions when I ordered it, but went for it anyways. The shades have a brown trim in similar material to the actual shade. I thought I wouldn't like it, but now that it's up it looks pretty good. Each shade has a noticeable seam, but when turned inwards towards the body of the chandelier you can't see it. Some of the arms and the candlesticks where the bulbs screw in were bent on arrival, which is why I didn't give this five stars. I was able to bend them back, but it would be nice if it came right. The box wasn't damaged so I guess it happened during packaging. And if you were curious it uses type CA candelabra bulbs.
