I am so impressed with Soy Gel. I stripped old stain off of baseboards and 4 layers of old paint (some oil under latex) with no more effort than a wipe! You cover whatever with the soy gel (I used brush, sponge, cloth, ... they all work. All you have to do is get the soy gel on whatever you are stripping.) Then, be patient (15min for 1 layer, hour for 4) You literally "push" it off effortlessly. then, to boot, you can reuse the soy get you just scrapped off and slop it on to something else! My items look BEAUTIFUL!!! The only "difficultly is wiping it of completely when you are done. I found that scrapping excess off well and following with warm, soapy water and lots of rags works well. I first bought a gal., then after stripping baseboards bought the 2.5 gal jug to continue with doors, furniture, window frames. GREAT product!! and NON-TOXIC--- what a plus! I recommend tis to everyone!!
