I took a chance and bought this unit on Amazon for a $121 at the time. It was a new model from a company new to the garage door opener business. I bought based on the major claim for how quiet it is for a chain drive opener. My two previous door openers had been very loud indeed. This unit did not disappoint. It is so quiet that when I shut my door into my house I cannot hear it. Not sure how they do it but I cannot believe that any other type of opener can be much quieter than this unit.

I have only had about a week so I cannot rate it on how well it will hold up. However based in first impressions I doubt I will ever look at another manufacturer again.
