If you plan to finish your basement, move a wall, add a window, install a door or repair a deck, buy one of these. You simply won't find another tool for the money that will provide so much time savings and value.No need to pay a lot, this model has the all the key features you'll need; 10 Amp motor, Variable Speed, Quick Change Blade Chuck and Carrying Case. Think you may need the oscillating blade model? Keep in mind that these saws are not designed to make extremely straight or precision cuts -they are designed to cut quickly with only fair accuracy. The oscillating blade will cut wood somewhat faster than this model. Instead of paying more, if you will be cross-cutting a lot of boards, buy a 10-12" miter saw. Need to rip plywood or OSB?, use a circular saw with a straight edge. If you need to do demolition, cut rough curves, blind cuts, tight space cuts, short rips, cut metal, cut PVC pipe or anything else except concrete -buy this.
