I needed to reach some difficult gutters on the highest edge of my house. My extension ladder flexed too much at that height ( over 17 ft.) so I needed something to allow me to work from the roof itself with confidence.
The trailing rope grab here I saw demonstrated in a youtube video, linked here:

and it works just as I saw in the video. The trailing rope grab (think automatic grab, catches automatically, but can be released and trailed manually ) is constructed of heavy duty alloy, with stout rivets.
The harness has plenty of adjustment points and is fairly comfortable.
The rope is the right size for the trailing rope grab, and 50 ft was enough for the roof itself, although I had to tie on more line, with a Yosemite bowline, to reach my secure point.

Overall very pleased with this product.
