This light looks very nice installed. I put it in a guest room that I decorated in a somewhat "masculine" style. I used natural weave roller shades on the windows, seagrass rug, and have a few wicker accents in the room and this light completed the look. When it is on, the light is very diffused and subtle, making the room look very warm. It would not be effective for task lighting,but for an overhead light it is just what I wanted.
