I bought this pump last year, concerned about the winter... finally this spring I had the opportunity to see it working. It works as a charm... turns on and off according to the water level... You may want to adjust the size of the wire that holds the float part, but not a big deal... I saw it working several times this last storm we had here in Colorado. Great product... and great price.
