I bought this as a replacement for my father-in-law's drywall jack. His was abused by another person who had borrowed it. His broke where the handwheel connects to the frame making the entire jack useless. I bought him a new one it because we found that if the jack was used with care, it works well. (The jack I bought appears to connect the handwheel differently, and I assume better, but I will not be testing what it takes to break). The unit shipped faster than the estimate ship time. It comes in a large box disassembled, but the assembly was very easy and it only took about 15 minutes to assemble. (Keep in mind that I have used a model just like it before.) Since assembly, I have used the jack to lift 4 ft wide by 12 ft long by 5/8 inch thick drywall sheets up to an 11 ft - 0 inch ceiling. I am in a wood framed, metal clad building with concrete floor. Very easy to manuever, was able to rotate the jack in order to clear the rails of a 10 ft wide overhead garage door, with a door opener track down the middle. My thought was that if I do not beat up on the jack and treat it right, the jack will pay for itself after two uses when compared to a rental rate of $130 per use. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Drywall and Panel Hoist Lift Jack - 150lb 4 X 16 Ft" are high quality item.
