Good saw, seems well built and weighty. Quite sharp out of the box as you'd expect.

I see pax has mixed reviews out there but I have had great success using it. Nice straight and clean cut.

The handle seems to get bad opinions, but i find it fine for cutting a few tenons. It probably isn't quite as comfortable as some of the high end type, but it's also less than half the price.

My only reason for loosing a star is it can bind slightly on the first few strokes on denser hardwoods. This disappears after the cut is deep enough and isn't anywhere near as obvious on softwoods. Could be my technique, but it has happened a few times.

For the price, I think this excellent value for money.

Lastly, it isn't clearly noted anywhere on amazon, or in the description but this is cross cut filed saw.
