Prairie View Industries Access Multifold Ramp 5' x 30" Review

I ordered this ramp to make a doorway at church handicap accessible. Unfortunately, the threshold where I need the ramp is only about 1 3/4" high. The description didn't mention the fact that the ramp is made for thresholds 3" and higher. If your threshold is lower, the braces under the ramp hit the ground and cause the ramp to rock like a see-saw. This is not acceptable. I am returning the ramp and having to pay return shipping. I am impressed by the quality and price of the ramp, but it won't work for my application. It would be helpful if Amazon (or Prairie View Industries) would include in their description the fact that the ramp will not work for thresholds less than 3" in height.

Bare-Tool Milwaukee 0740-20 V28 Lithium 6-7/8-Inch Cordless Metal Cutting Circular Saw (Tool Only, No Battery) Review

I bought this saw, and put an mk morse 6 1/2" metal cutting blade on it. After a few cuts on 1/8" mild steel, the blade starting sparking when it was cutting instead of just leaving metal files. Apart from that, the cuts I made with the blade appear to be decent in quality. Then I tried to put in Milwaukee's supplied 6 7/8" blade, the blade doesn't fit. I call Milwaukee and apparently that's a known issue. I return the saw to amazon. They send me a new one (good customer service amazon) and not only the same problem but the collet lock is missing. Milwaukee, where is your QA? Am I not buying a quality tool here? Two bad tools in a row, that's pretty pathetic for a professional's tool company. So, I tell Amazon, and they tell me to return the replacement, and they will try to resolve the issue with Milwaukee, and they will get back to me in an indeterminate length of time. So, here I am without a saw I would like to have. I think it's a good saw with some weak points if Milwaukee can build it right. I don't have an opinion on the supplied blade as I could never get it installed on the tool.

SilverFire Hunter Chimney Stove Review

I have had this stove for about two months, the build quality is a lot better than other stoves of this type, This stove works good indoors, you get SS stove pipe with the stove, I used a 3 inch elbow and a 3 inch to 6 inch adapter to hook it up to a chimney I was using for a wood stove I no longer have installed. The only downside is cleaning the stove, the only way to clean out the ashes is to turn the stove upside down and dump the ashes out, to do this you have to disconnect the stove pipe, the stovepipe will have fine ash inside and you have to be careful not to make a mess you will have to clean up, best to have a bucket close by to set the end of the stovepipe in and move it outdoors that way, not a lot of ash but enough to make a mess. The stove does not have to be cleaned after every use but it should be. Using stove three times a day you may get by with one cleaning. I also have a Silver Fire Suvivor model, this is a outdoor stove and it also is a lot better than the Stove-Tec stoves I was using. I cant see any one complaining about the build or cost of any of the Silver Fire stoves.
